Jarrett Herbison Set For Another Season of Go Kart Racing in Junior Sportsman 2 Division; Brand New Website Coming Soon

After a long off-season that consisted of school, hockey and other typical events that a 12 year old would do for six months of the year, Jarrett Herbison is ready to get back behind the wheel of his go-kart for another season. Herbison had four wins in 2011, and hopes that 2012 will bring even better results.

The 2012 season will get underway at Brockville Speedway on Wednesday, May 30^th for open practice, and will begin weekly racing on Wednesday, June 6^th.  Cornwall Speedway has yet to release their schedule, but will run Tuesday nights once again through the summer.

“I am really looking forward to getting back on the track again this year”, says Herbison.  “I think we will have a good year, and hopefully we can contend for the championship at both Brockville and Cornwall Speedway this season”.

The third generation racer will have his work cut out for him this year to keep up with the pace that his father set one year ago, as Chris Herbison captured multiple feature wins and championship at both Cornwall and Brockville in the DIRTcar Sportsman division on the big track.

“Dad had a great year last year, and I hope we can both do the same this year”, says the youngest generation of the Herbison racers.  “Hopefully in a couple years we can both be out there on the track in the Sportsman division, as that has been my goal for a while now”.

With the season is still several weeks away, Herbison will soon be launching a new and improved website before the season starts.  Finish Line Web Design will once again be designing and maintaining the site, and will have press releases over the course of the 2012 season to keep sponsors, fans and friends informed.
